Data assessing how the shift to remote work obstructed organizational security shows that cyber risks escalated considerably since the start of the pandemic.

While the focus of the pandemic was based on getting businesses running remotely, other objectives – such as compliance and cybersecurity – were pushed back.

This report clarifies that since the beginning of the pandemic, cybersecurity’s position took a hit:

• There was a 48% increase in the volume of threats
• 60% of U.S. workers opened suspicious emails
• The number of unsafe clicks per user rose 300%
• There was a 60% increase in personal use of a corporate device
